Cauchy Aging

Life is a Cauchy sequence. The difference between daily experiences decreases to zero as life advances. Have you ever seen an excited octogenarian? If you have, then don't assume they won the lottery or were going to an amusement park. Chances are they got milk instead of orange juice with their breakfast, which for them is a major deviation from the norm, whereas for me to experience similar delight, my orange juice would have to be replaced by a chainsaw. It is depressing but I also look forward to taking great pleasure in variation in my breakfast beverages.

Note: For those who aren't familiar, a Cauchy sequence is a sequence of numbers that get closer and closer together. In other words, the further you go along the sequence, the smaller the difference is between the numbers.
