Notes: Matt led off the game with a solo inside-the-park home run, in his first at bat with his new bat. In the second inning, Neil celebrated his 300th Ice Weasels regular season game by clubbing a solo inside-the-park shot of his own. Also in the second inning, Greg hit a 2-run inside-the-park home run. Greg led off the 5th inning with a solo inside-the-park home run. Later in the 5th inning, Amanda came up to bat with around a minute left on the clock. She took pitches but eventually had two strikes on her with time left on the clock. She belted the next pitch for a 3-run inside-the-park home run, during which time expired and the Weasels were victorious. There were a few nice defensive plays made by the Weasels, including two rifle throws from Becky to get runners at first base, as well as two double plays turned at second base and first base. The victory was not without pain, however -- Mitch took a line drive off his leg, but since the ball didn't roll too far away, he managed to throw the lead runner from first base out at second base.
