Subject: weird dream
I had a pretty weird dream last night, and you were in part of it.
You were in a spelling bee, and I was sitting right next to you (as a
spectator). You passed the first round, I forget what your word
was...it is rattling around in my head somewhere, but I just cannot
think of it. Anyway, on the second round, they gave you your word; or
rather, they gave you a clue to what your word was, but the clue was
something like, "This sometimes cowboy is tougher than flint, and says
'Make my day' and sometimes faces east." I'm paraphrasing here, but I
hope to have conveyed just how obvious and simple it was. Also, on a
wall right in front of us, was a poster for Clint Eastwood. So it
was pretty obvious what the word, or words as it were, was. So you
spelled out C L I N T, then said Eastwood, then began spelling it, E I
G H- wait, uh, E I A S, *bzzzzz* you're out. I was incredulous. I
could not believe you lost because you could not spell Eastwood.
